Icon Building Group Wins 5 Key Awards from Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago
Icon Building Group won 5 Key Awards, which are presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC). This is a very exciting and proud moment for everyone here at Icon Building Group. It’s a huge honor to be recognized for our work by an association of our peers. It’s a tribute to our entire extended team. Everyone at Icon is driven to bring our clients vision to life while making the process of doing so, fun and exciting. It’s gratifying to see some of that effort recognized.
The annual awards recognize excellence in housing design, architecture, interior merchandising, landscaping, landscape architecture and remodeling. We received four Gold Key Awards and one Key Silver Award for homes we built or remodeled in the Chicagoland area in 2016.
Gold Key Awards presented to us included honors for a 4,000-square foot, modern-style, newly constructed custom home, the interior design of a custom luxury lodge-style home, the new construction of a 7,000-square foot custom luxury cottage home and a complete home remodel project on the North Shore. We received the Silver Key Award for a kitchen remodeling project for its sleek lines and the coolness it resonated.
Getting the all aspects of our work done just right involves getting to know our clients at a very intimate level. It is the only way to truly connect with the depth of our customer’s vision, that is necessary, in order capture every nuance and detail for them. In most cases, this intimacy has created lasting friendships, which makes this recognition even sweeter.
The HBAGC, which was founded in 1939, serves as our industry trade association. It represents members like us who are involved in home building, remodeling, design, housing finance, building product manufacturing and other segments of residential construction. HBAGC operates as a not-for-profit organization, providing members with networking and educational opportunities and represents them in matters related to government relations and advocacy.
